I’ve seen several other games lock a happy ending behind something much more depressing, and if I had to guess the purpose of this is to leave the player with a good aftertaste. Seeing the title screen change afterwards gave me a warm feeling, even if it technically isn’t the “true” ending of the game. Either way, seeing the characters get a happy ending after hours of reading about how fucked their lives are is refreshing. Now I’m wondering if I fucked up by not going through all of the endings first before getting the final ending. I didn’t go through all of the bad endings, but the ones I read were pretty interesting.
There's not a lot of relationship development, but since he's BFF with Momo and we get hints that Momo is into him but just really dense, their relationship is actually believable.Īnother anon here who finished Sombre Dimanche I really enjoyed that. Sakura is the only guy with common sense so he's my favorite. Their relationship is so half-baked that when I got to his bad end, I was not surprised at all. He apologizes, Momo thinks he might not be such a bad guy, stuff happens, they get together, the end. Hiragi is an awkward guy who obviously has communication issues since he spends two months harrasing a McDonald's cashier, and somehow doesn't realize it. He ends up confronting Hiragi about his harrasment, stuff happens and you get to decide if Momo gets together with the customer or his coworker. The MC then admits that he's okay (in theory) with dating guys. It starts with the MC (Momo) complaining about a customer (Hiragi) who keeps bugging him about his smile, which leads his coworker (Sakura) to suggest that the guy might have a crush on Momo. It's basically a bl oneshot so there's not a lot to it, but I've read worse.
